Going to spain in 4wks time, just had out ticket through the post with 9 names on, also no luggage tags ! Has anyone experienced this with Thomson !

We received a neat little book about the size of what would fit in a jacket pocket, with information, the tickets just for us two, and the luggage tags. We were very impressed. It was all in this little booklet.
We were also impressed with the web information that came through before the holiday which helped build up excitement and anticipation. We liked Thomson and would go back on holiday with them.0 -

Is there a problem with all names being on the one ticket? If Thomson have sent out that document, then I am sure their check-in agents will accept it.
Most airlines do not issue baggage tags anymore. Its not the baggage tags that get them to the destination anyway, its the big sticker with all the barcodes on that they put on at check in. Of course it is still a good idea to put your own details on the bag somewhere, just make your own tags, or buy some, I'm sure even Poundland do re-useable plastic type ones.0 -
We went in early June, so would have received this in May 2011.
As bagand96 said, the luggage tags weren't the ones for our names and addresses, they were to go through check-in with, so had our trip details barcoded on. They were all neatly in the document, and at the time I did think it must have been an expensive thing to do, to have a little booklet with everything in, so sorry that they seem to have stopped this.0 -
If its 1 booking for 9 then it will be one ticket which you show at check in, and they do seem to be doing away with luggage labels, although some peoples ticket books seem to bigger than others. You only need to identify your case so don't really need labels as its barcoded at the airport.0

maybe its the type of holiday booked,ive been away with thomson twice this year, the first was a premium holiday with luggage tags etc, the second one turned out to be skytours with no luggage tags,travel agent told me it depends on type of holiday booked if you get luggage tags when i asked, for years though whatever holiday we booked with thomsons all our names have been on the same ticket0
