They have been selling Prima ones in Sainsburys for £12.49. And Tescos Direct have some for around £7 (Morphy Richards I think) I have been debating buying one myself but haven't had one before, so will be watching this post to see other peoples views on them.Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0

What sort of things do you cook in it?Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
Try argos we got one for £10 3.5 litres. As for cooking in them 1 large tin chunky vegatable soup, some chopped pork or lamb, throw in to cooker and leave on low for 6 to 8 hours.0

Morphy Richards aftersales care is FANTASTIC. Just something to bear in mind.
Have a look through This Thread in the OS board. It may help:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
If you know anyone who has a makro card, then they have a Delonghi 5 litre oval shaped (good for joints of meat) slow cooker for £17.61 inc vat. It is a brushed steel one. It has a brown ceramic crock which is good because some of the white ones get discoloured by tomato. It has a high, low and keep warm setting. I got one on Wednesday and cooked some chicken drumsticks in, they were lovely, the meat just fell off the bone, that was after cooking it for 7 and a half hours on the high setting. Well worth the money, just sorry I never got one sooner. And yes the lady in the avatar is me

I wouldn't be without my slow-cooker either. They cost less than a lightbulb to run and are very safe. Baking potatoes can be cooked by pricking and popping in the slow cooker for about 4 hours - they come out really yummy!
Apart from the recipes on the OS forum, there's a good site here:-
