I live in a 3 bed semi bungalow, so for me there's been no problem in selling it, had several offers for it. It depends on where you are, and how good a state it's in, not really any down points to be honest. It depends on what you're wanting from a property and if it suits your family, your lifestyle. Plus, no stairs.Everything I know, I've learned from Judge Judy.

Pff, no idea.
I suppose the main things about them include:
1. No stairs means convenient/safe;
2. Often quite expensive on a per squ. foot basis compared to houses;
3. Areas with lots of bungalows tend to have lots of old people living there (see 1.);
4. Possibly less secure than other types of dwelling - any window you open is a potential access point;
5. Quite a lot of privacy in your garden since if the whole area is bungalows your neighbours' houses will rarely overlook yours.
6. etc.

Personally, I'd not like to sleep on the ground floor. I like going upstairs to bed, and we like to be able to open windows the bedroom window during the night. Wouldn't feel safe doing that in a bungalow!
Saying that, if something perfect came up, I would eventually look at it, but it would be a major compromise for me, and I'd have to have exhausted the rest of the market first!

Just because it is a bungalow doesn't mean it doesn't have stairs (i.e dormer/conversion).

Does it suit your current needs?
Is there room to build an extension if you want to in the future? You can always extend into the loft/add a dormer - some of them are really nice.
My parents live in a bungalow and say it's much easier to keep warm (being on one level) than their previous house was.
As you get older (and stairs become a problem) you won't have to move.
If it's in a decent enough area and you keep it in good condition, I can't see a problem in re-selling. After all, we're an ageing population. Can only see demand for bungalows going one way - UP !!0
