so she claims all the child related benefits even though the kids arent living with her?
you could then add benefit fraud to her ongoing list of misdemeanours!
He's only had to kids for the last 2 weeks, he's still trying to sort himself out ! I've already reported her to HMRC for tax evasion !0 -
I'm confused. Whose children is she claiming CB/CTC for?0

I think it's the 2 kids the OP's ex and current girlfriend have together although it sounds like it's the father who is the main care giver.0 -
My post advised that as of this week, he is no longer employed. He now has no salary at all.
No one on £90kpa get any tax credits at all, niether does their partner and since they have no kids residing with them they are still not entitled to a penny tax credits, if she is claiming fraudulently so is he as they are a couple.0 -

I think you are getting mixed up a bit.
My ex does not work, he has lost his job.
He has no salary.
His previous salary was 90k.
He lives alone with his 2 children, he has custody of them.
His partner does not live with him but she gets CTC and CB for the 2 children as they did live together as a couple but aren't anymore.
He is not claiming anything at all at the moment which is why i asked for advice.
Is it clearer now ?0 -
tou are assuming that the ex and his girlfriend lived together. No one on £90kpa get any tax credits at all, niether does their partner and since they have no kids residing with them they are still not entitled to a penny tax credits, if she is claiming fraudulently so is he as they are a couple.
i am assuming that they were already seperated and that the girlfriend was claiming as a single parent.0
