Can you reclaim PPI on overdraft?

Hi,

I found out today Ive been paying £4pm on a PPI for my overdraft.

In the branch the personal banker told me that with my job I didnt need it and I was surprised that I actually had it. I knew it was being taken out of my account but I assumed it was compulsory with my overdraft.

Even though it was cancelled has anyone been successful in reclaiming bank account PPI's?

hi Jack

do you mean you get charged an overdraft fee each month or am i thinking of something else?

i have noticed that with lloyds it used to be no fee when using your overdraft but for the past couple of months ive noticed that i get charged 5 pound overdraft fees if i use the overdraft.

Hi,

I get charged interest on the amount im overdrawn each month, But there is also £4 that is taken out every month to protect me if I lost job, sickness etc.

Just wanted to know if I could claim it back.

I have already claimed back bank chages from this account previously, but now ive seen this PPI charge.
