Have searched but can't find an answer so hopefully someone here can advise.
Every now and again when I'm working on the laptop it keeps jumping to the mail page, and occasionally the Y home page. It's only happened for the past few weeks, since I had a new combined router/modem installed by a Virgin tech - don't know if that would be anything to do with it?

probably all is okay but do a quick scan with malwarebytes just in case. also, does this happen when using the trackpad? what about when using an external mouse? sometimes trackpads are over-sensitive to any sudden movement --- u can sometimes change the sensitivity level settings in control panel .BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

Just installed and run Malwarebytes, it's all clear. I don't actually use the trackpad (what a posh name, I call it 'that annoying little square thing in the front'!) I only ever use an external mouse so I don't think it could be that?0

actually, it could very well be -- i have seen this happen with cheap/old mice -- both wired and wireless. can u try another mouse if u have one? also, could u temp. remove the mouse and just use the trackpad for a few hrs/a day and see what happens. yes, it could indeed be the mouse itself.BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON?
