Just had a rep from Scottish Power knock exactly as mentioned here - He had a laminate from the MSE site which he was using as his sales technique saying Martin Lewis was recommending every one switch to Scottish power now as British Gas had just hiked prices by 18%.
He omitted to mention that they had also hiked prices !0 -
If I get a cold call -either at the door or by telephone- from a large company like an energy provider or telephone service provider, I say to them, "is that information on your website?". When they say yes, I say, "Ok, I'm busy now but I'll have a look at it later". They go away then.0

I have had a letter from my welsh assembly AM today in response to my complaint to Eon after a rep knocked on my door claiming welsh government approval. For a few days after he knocked my door I saw him on other streets, following the first call by Eon rep he vanished!0
