Overdraft reduction

I've been with my bank for a long long time and over the years my od limit has crept up and up and up to a huge £4500. I'm ashamed to admit that the amount I owe to them has crept up and up in line with them and for at least the past three years I have lived at this limit often with a few standing orders bouncing at the end of the month etc

Having only become money aware recently (I know, I know) I'd never really thought about what a ridiculous size that OD is!! To be in a position where my salary was being paid in and I was still in re red!!! Well anyway, I've sorted that side out, am in the black now, and have just sent a letter to the bank asking them to decrease to a much more manageable £200.

And it feels great :)
*No debts* ;)
