im trying to write an autorun batch file...
works fine but i dont know how to have a space in the filename.
i can autorun e.g. testfile.exe fine but not test file.exe as it just says cannot find test
so is there some kind of additional syntax to enter a space??
any info appreciated

Have you tried using quotes? "test file.exe" Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

One way is to open a command window, "cd" to the folder where the file resides and then type "dir /X". This will show a list of all the files with their 8.3 filenames. For "test file.exe" this shows as "testfi~1.exe". Use this name in your batch file.0
