I'm now considering a panasonic DMR-BW780 but can't seem to source one for my budget, Argos has them for £314 but have none in stock online or at any stores near me

On icheckstock there is an option to get an e-mail if it turns up in the next week
Look for check stock automatically if you want to use it0 -

No problem, it is annoying when a retailer lists something they must know they haven't got any of, especially at half price0

Have just set up email response - thanks (again) for the icheck link, and am now looking at something different, surprise.
This caught my eye, so am off again to read yet more reviews
then again maybe not - having seen reviews
btw do you know of any sites that I can find an unbiased view on the customer service that companies give, I tend to find that feedback is mainly negative wherever I look0 -
I suppose you can renew the e-mail at icheck each week for things you don't need straight away
Usually you can type a company in to google and get the latest views
Or, saw this
http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/
Play have the HDT for £180 though probably with a one year warranty
John Lewis is about as good as it gets for customer buying experience0 -

but I think I hold fire until I get a response from Argos re the panasonic
Had a look at trustpilot and although the usual conspiracy theories spring to mind when looking at such sites, may just join up and do my bit for fairness in consumerism.0 -
The panasonic looks to be a brilliant find, hope Argos get some near you, though for £300 off you could book a week at the nearest Butlins and still save money
John Lewis delivered my washing machine to the top floor and took the old one with them and their delivery people were not put out at all0
