    I was under the impression that we all wanted a better deal,that was why we used this site.
    DD seems to be happy for banks to rip us off.

    No, i didnt say i was happy for them to do it. I was just seeing the economics of it. Personally, capitalism is getting scary. Companies bigger than governments, everything being standardised. Lack of choice or variety and any start up company with different ideas gets bought out and eaten up before it can really make a difference.

    However, I dont see what offering that age group better terms would gain. Say you gave them an extra 0.5% over the adult rate. When they hit 18, you would have to inform them that their account no longer gets that extra 0.5% and has to be changed to an adult account. That doesnt buy loyalty. You end up giving them an extra 0.5% when they dont have any money and are not profitable to you and then !!!!!! them off at 18 just when they may be starting work and entering the early periods of when they would be profitable.
