Evening Guys,
I have a student account with the Halifax, but I've had enough of th poor service. I don't really use the overdraft, but like it to be there just incase, so it's not as thought I'm tied to them until I can clear it.
Basically, I want to switch banks, overdraft limits are not that important, I'd rather have one with good online banking layout and good customer service.
so.... any recommendations?
I've heard Natwest are supposed to be ok??

I found that LTSB had a good student account - interest rates pretty poor but good overdraft and the online banking is well laid out and you can do most things that you want. Their graduate account (which I have) is also quite good for the overdraft etc and generally found the people I speak to quite helpful.0

I have a student account with Smile bank. Online banking is OK (I find nationwide the best) but customer service have always been very helpful. If you're going to be in credit, it's worth going for this as they pay 3% interest, compared to the 0.1% most current accounts pay.0

Thanks for that, went into town earlier and into a few of the banks. I decided to go with Barclays in the end, staff in branch were far better in many ways0
