It's dear for a 1995 car,. But it's cheap summer motoring if you garage it until next year.

What do you mean garage it? I thought it was dear too, especially as it's got 142k on the mileage clock.

Checkout the ebay boards, Someone was selling a BMW auto convertible same year i think, Bids got to about £600
but for some strange reason it sold but was then relisted.

Shill bidding was suspected. So the price of that car is way over the top. He couldnt get £600 for his.

Lovely looking car, no idea about the price but high miles as said. Notice how the front has clear indicators but the back doesn't. Why not? Probably someone thinks they look good and hasn't done the back to match but possibly worse...

Speaking as a full time motor trader...

Should be orange front and rear at that age, but a lot of people did the fronts clear as it freshens that car up for only about £30. Rears cost about £90-100 a side, hence chances are thats why it doesnt have the rears done.

There is no definitive guide price for a car this age. The better the condition / colour combination / history, the higher the price.

I checked autotrader's site there and it would seem you could get a 'similar' car for £995 from a mainland dealer. BUT local prices vary.

Doesn't really matter about the price on this one. It's a big petrol engine, with alot of miles on the clock and sooner or later this is going to give someone a hell of a lot of problems.

328i Beemers were a good diffing car too as you'll know highrisklowreturn!! id maybe steer clear of this one.

Why can't they just make a car like this today? All modern sports cars look curved and 'bent'.
