Santander Premium account - health insurance benefits - WARNING

Be careful, it sounds like a good deal, all these things for £20 a month but read the travel insurance policy carefully.

Wife has Asthma - nothing serious but she does take 2 different inhalers (like a lot of people). £14 extra Santander want.

I dread to think what it'd cost for anyone with a serious pre-existing illness.....

  • To be fair have you found out what other banks/insurers would charge her for the same cover.
It is good that you read the policy schedule and found out the drawbacks for you but it could be a good deal for others.

By the way was it an extra £14 per month or as a one off payment to cove you for 12 months?

the premium account only covers a little of what a normal policy will cover.

thats why if you totalled all the proper prices for all their extras up it would total a way more that £20
Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?

You'll find that pre-existing asthma will always attract a premium on insurance policies. Many companies won't even cover you.
