There are two main types of halogen lamps used in these types of fittings, so before buying the above ensure that the lamps you are replacing are the GU10 type which are rated at 240v and not the bi-pin version which are run off a transformer and the lamps are rated at 12v

You can get LED replacements for the 12v Bi-Pin versions too.

omg my halogen lights are on a remote controll dimmer thing and they are switched on/off alot. need to change something

You may need to get rid of the dimmer and wire them directly to an on/off switch if using a basic LED to replace an halogen lamp. Some dimmer switches require a minimum current to operate correctly, and the reduced current of a couple of LED lamps may not produce the minimum current the dimmer switch needs to work correctly, resulting in flickering, or random dimming or it not switching on at all.
