potholes...we did a no win no fee
with everything to back up what we said. we paid insurance so that in event it went wrong for the solicitor the solicitor woudl get paid anyway. but what we found is that the solicitor decided to stop the claim and did not get us any money and dropped us at a hat with no money for the damage the pothole caused our car which became a write off. i asked them why they droppped the case and they did not have a reason. i have the impression they thought it easier to get the insurance on it. can we do anything about it?thanks in advance. no win no fees sound like very dodgy companies to me!

Councils have lots of loopholes now that get them out of these claims.
Locally to me, you must have reported the pothole to them before you hit it......“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

What was you actually claiming for, did you have an invoice for repair to the car caused by the pot hole?0 -
