Phonecall pretending to be Halifax bank

Just a heads up, just had a phonecall claiming to be from Halifax bank, sounded as if it was an Indian lady, but lauched straight into I just need to confirm your details speech asking for date of birth etc - when I refused saying that I didn't know they were genuine the call was quickly ended, phoned the bank and apparently they are aware of this.

Yes but apparently they just guess,according to the bank they pick a bank name at random, just glad I was awake enough.What goes around - comes around

Do you know what number they are calling you from as i am having calkls from them (im googling the number that is left on my phone) and I dont have any accounts with them!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0
