Hi All

Iv'e just checked my bank and without them telling me they have uped my dd to almost £110 a month from £24, can they just changed it without telling you?

No, they need to advise you if they want to change it. But, since £288pa is completly inadequate to cover any property on dual fuel, clearly it needs to increase substantially.
The £110 is to recover the debt as well as cover ongoing consumption. Once you are back in credit or zero balance, it can drop.
Your account should be credit at the end of summer.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

you will need to know what you have to pay to cover your bill then arange to payoff the debt . don't just let them set a figure you need to be able to afford it.

Then ask your bank to do a DD repayment under the DD guarantee scheme.

You complain to your supplier-who else?
But your remedy is through your bank.

    Hi Part Mouse,

You should have received a letter to inform you of any changes to your monthly payments.

If you send me your account details to forumresponse@npower.com, I'll take a look into this for you.

    Best wishes

    Sally :)

Normally on the statement they inform you that the DD will be increasing.
You have to look hard because it is quite often not that visible.

There is. But you need to complete the process with Npower first.
