I have a Fujitsu lifebook A series and an old Fujifilm digital camera.
On my old laptop, when I connected the camera to the computer, I had some free Adobe software which identified which pictures on the camera card were new, and downloaded just those ones. I also had some Fuji drivers from CD but didn't use them.
On my Fujitsu laptop I don't have the Adobe software and can't identify / download new photos without comparing photo ref numbers one by one, before copying and pasting them across using My Computer.
Does this adobe software ring any bells with anyone (old laptop is dead otherwise I'd have been able to check) and suggest where I might get it from?
Many thanks.

Why do you need to compare nos one by one?
Surely the camera numbers them sequentially, and all pics on the camera with a no. higher than the highest no. on the PC are the new ones?
Alternatively, open up the folder on the PC and on the camera in two Windows Explorer windows, and copy/paste from the camera to the PC. Windows will prompt when a pic is already there, and ask if you want to replace it. Say No to the first one, and tick the box that says repeat this action for all files found in a similar state. That'll then only copy the new photos.0 -
Thanks googler, will resort to that. Had got used to being spoilt by the software which did it automatically on launch!0

Picasa will do what the OP wants - it shows what has aleady been downloaded, with thumbnails so all is clear.
Picasa is a free program which many novices find helpful. Just google it0
