What's worrying ? They're just animals looking for food, they're not going to hurt you.
Ultimately they're just looking for food - if there's none available, they'll soon go away. If they find a food source, they'll stay. Don't throw food scraps onto the garden, make sure there's nothing else lying around that they can eat, they'll soon loose interest. Either that or stake out your garden at midnight with a 12-bore .......0 -

Are they hanging around or just passing through. Rats often "commute" hence the expression "rat-run".0

Probably forced off the trains by the recent fare increases.0 -
theres a kind of 'no mans land' all overgrown with weeds , between my fence and the fence alongside the railway line , this area is a 1.5 meter wide strip of land owned by the railway company , it is overgrown with weeds and plants , this is where the rats inhabit but they are not happy just to stay there it seems .
Do foxes eat rats i wonder ? as i have seen a fox over there sometimesmy favourite food is spare ribs0 -
Call the council pest control team.
As they breed they form new colonies and look for new territory so if they are not in or around the house now, thats fair game for the new lot.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
