tucan claims?

besides being pleased for others i have not looked into the whole PPI thing myself as i never taken out any insurance package with a loan or credit card. however i was sent a letter yeaterday from an agency called tucan going over the victory against banks and how if i had any type of loan etc over last 15 years i may be able to place a claim. i ignored letter for the same reason as above. but then last night received a call from the same agency saying i was eligble for £1600 (dont know how they arrived at this figure) because i had had my credit limit raised many times on my credit cards and mail order accounts without a signed .... from myself. they went on to say how hard they would work on my behalf to come up with this amount if not more within 2 weeks, they would send out a folder with all relevant info yesterday and all they now needed to do was to reserve £200 on my visa account which would not be touched but was necessary (an understandable reason was not given) at this point i said i wanted to think about it. at this point i was transferred to a supervisor who was really putting the pressure on to do this and kept saying if i was bothered about doing this later they would then stop it where i kept saying i did not want to proceed until i looked into it more and not agree for them to take it out then and for me to later withdraw. he eventually gave up and then at 9am this morning received another call asking me had i thought any more about it. firstly has anyone had any dealings with this particular company? and is the information they gave me correct and is it one of these things that you can do nfor yourself and save the 10% they would charge. sorry if this info is already posted somewhere but there is just so much info on here dont know where to begin?

The increase in credit limit reclaim is a complete lie. Ignore them and ask them to remove you from their database, if they call again tell them you will report them for harassment.

its made up. It is designed to gain your interest in a cold call.

Not a valid reason.

This is a breach of MoJ rules. They should not be promising unrealistic timescales and unrealistic outcomes.
