This is the cheapest I have seen
http://www.misco.co.uk/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=455346
Does anyone have an opinion on this? What are the costs of replacement toners? Is there a cheaper laser colour printer available? Thanks very much.

Compatibles here, though £160 plus VAT for 2700 pages

What type of printing will you be doing?
When do you need the printer?0 -
I won't be doing that much printing, that's why I am looking for a laser printer. I need it within a week or so. Thanks.0

Different option, but worth considering
The SX415 is an all in one
http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-SX415/Overview
Currently available for £34 here
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500002901&langId=-1&searchTerms=SX415
The inks are £3 a set here
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/REXTRAS-LTD/_i.html?_nkw=sx415&_arm=1&_armi=Replace+forT0807+%28Hummingbird%29&_armm=351&_ruu=http%3A%2F%2Fstores.ebay.co.uk%2FREXTRAS-LTD%2FReplace-forT0807-Hummingbird-%2F_i.html%3F_nkw%3Dsx415%26_arr%3D1%26_fsub%3D1443312014%26_sc%3D1%26_sid%3D859856154%26_sop%3D15&_sc=1&_sid=859856154&_sop=15&_rdc=1
The laser you linked to has a set of toners for approximately £192 and will produce 2700 pages
The Epson SX415 will do between 240 and 405 pages per set
The Epson figure is based on the likely 6.5ml of ink per genuine cartridge
The Rextras compatible cartridges have 19ml of ink per cartridge so the printer would need around 4 sets of their inks to produce 2700 pages
So, For an outlay of £34 for the printer and £12 for the Rextras inks, the Epson would produce 2700 pages
The Laser would cost £63:60 plus the £192 for compatible toners to produce 2700 pages
If you go for the Epson, run a page of mixed coloured text each week if not used to prevent the ink heads drying
Misco have stopped selling the Laser at the moment but dabs have it

Perhaps someone with experience of Epson Lasers can say if the rainbow pack is the only option0 -
Thank you so much santer for all your effort xxx0

This may be of use http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-clp-320-colour-laser-printer-64-99-ithelpdesk-ebay/1003720 It says expired but follow the link and they seem to be back in stock. Follow the page down and you will see the cost of toner is quite low.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
