To counterbalance my MBNA moan down there, good news from HSBC

They've agreed to pay me back £20,000, which is nice and actually wipes out all my credit cards along with the wife's debts so in a couple of months, we will be debt free! Hurrah!
So, thanks all for the advice I've read on here over the last year or so.
All in all - HSBC repaid 20k, Egg repaid 1.5k, MBNA repaid 3k and I wouldn't have got any of this sorted without reading what the clever people on here wrote. You're all lovely.
