Just noticed we had a £75 paid item fee £20 unauth'd overdraft fee and interest.
I understand we get £15 for every transaction over the overdraft.... here is what we got charged for..
a Payment for £24.56 came out, taking me £12.07 over the overdraft as I was abroad for this transaction I then have a commission fee of £0.34 and a cash withdrawal fee of £1.00!
3 days later the wages went in so I was then back in credit!
If they charged me £45, which would be £15 for each transaction then I could understand it but I dont understand the £75 especially as two of the transactions are their own fee's. It was says (4) beside the charge and I rang them and they said the 4 shows how many transactions came out!
Unfortunately this is my husbands account who is currently working away in another country so I cant ring the bank myself, he only gets a certain amount of time to make phone calls so I want to make sure there is a mistake on the banks behalf and not ours before he uses his minutes to call them.
I would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on this for me please.
Many thanks
Sorry, title should say PAID item fee!

The charge notice includes the date they apply for, is the date the same for all the paid item charges?
I would expect £15 for the £24.56 and £20 unauthorised overdraft, so £35 in total.
Commission fee and cash withdrawal fee - sounds like you withdrew money in a foreign country. You'll be charged £15 a time for this too if you were overdrawn at the time.0
