Hi guys hope you can help-
There could be a few changes in my circumstances for next year so I have been on the gov website trying to see what help I can get- basically where it shows the amount you can possibly receive on the child tax credits - it shows money you could recieve from todays date until the 4th April as we're almost half way through the tax yr- so how would I know what the total would be for the year- would I just devide it by the 29 weeks left anad multiply it by the 52 weeks for the year OR would the amount shown be for the ful year??
I am a little confused??
Cheers

So as there are 29 weeks left until the next tax yr am I right in presuming to get the idea for next tax years help I just divide the amount by the 29 weeks to find out the amount per week and then multiply the weekly amount by 52 weeks for the new tax year to find out the total amount?
Not sure I am explaining myself proper- so for eg if it said £3000 and we was half way through the year would that mean for the next full year it would be £6000??I am a Travel Agent

No as the figures for next year might be different. As always work from the previous years figures. And the elements might change for next tax year.
You can only work out till the end of the tax year, nearer the time there should be a new calculator to work out your entitlement for the next year0 -
