Chrome - formatting problems when posting in MSE

I normally post comps in MSE using IE8 with my User CP, Edit Options, Miscallaneous Options set to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing. When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Because IE8 has been getting progressively worse for me, slow loading, not sharing to facebook, etc, I have tried Firefox but didn't like the bookmarking options (for me) so thought I'd try Chrome. I absolutely love it, but when I post comps in MSE using it I only see basic formatting ie I see the characters that make up the smileys etc, not the fully fledged WYSIWYG editor that I had in IE8. No doubt there is a setting somewhere in Chrome relating to formatting, does anyone know how or where it is??

I would appreciate any ideas anyone has, at the moment I'm using Chrome for everything and then using IE8 when posting comps :T (when I clicked the clapping hands on the right of this, I just see the basic colonT)
