Light out in fridge.....

Hi Ive got a next retro fridge 5 months old, the light kept coming on and off, its now completely off, its a first time ive ever had a fridge with a light go, do I get a replacement from a electric shop??thanks ...

the light goes on and off as you open and shut the door. if the light is now off, then the door must be shut.......0

Try tightening it up. It might be a screw-in job and just have worked loose. If it works sometimes, then you don't need a new bulb.

They'll have replacement bulbs in other shops than the 'electric shop', try B & Q...
Take the old one with you to get like-for-like.0 -
Yes thanks id done all the obvious things before I posted, its definately new bulb job, its a screw in job because I had screwed it tight a few times before it went out completely..........I will try B&Q next time I get a chance...many thanks.........0
