Probably the same for the other Humaxes!

Can anyone tell me what is the meaning of the various background colours for the shows shown in the Electronic Programme Guide? I see white text on pale blue, and a darker blue, and another colour (pale purple?), which of course I can't now find!

All the programmes for a particular channel are not in the same colour, so my initial theory about indicating channels on the same multiplex bites the dust.

No doubt there is an extremely simple and obvious explanation!

I've been wondering the same thing for ages and your question has prompted me to find out.

The darker blue colour signifies there is a series link associated with the programme and according to the Humax forum on Digital Spy there's a third shade of blue that indicates a split event (programme) E.g. a film split over the news.
