Hi I need some help please

Hi I bought a 3d tv on a private sale I seen on eBay . I know stupid as I can be.
I thought I was getting a good Price at £500 but slight mark on tv.
I got to this persons house and was told it had 12'months warantie
And he promised me this but was in his name, I looked at the paper work but no warintie it said the tv had a repair don't august this year.
How ever I came home he gave me the wrong remote control and I called him and he said he would send me a new one , I want to take the tv back to him but it did say on the paper work I could return up to 7 days , but he told me no I can not take it back .:eek::eek:
Then I called up samsung and the warinte is still not a full 12 moths.
Only has 5 months left
But he told me I had to pay 15/% of £500 . This was a private sale please I feel i have been had over . Tbh the tv is ok slight scuff mark on tv but not screen tv picture is good and the 3d works but not with the remote control what are my rights to get my money back thanks guys ..

Hi I seen it on ebay not buy it of ebay ..I feel so stupid he taken the pee out of me being a woman and disabled I feel . I bought this for my daughters bedroom .
His phone number was on ebay. But now taken it of but I did how ever take a web shot of the page and tv

You purchased from a business seller, but rather than going through the ebay channels you contacted the seller directly -- is this correct?

I doubt it has anything to do with your disability, wierd conclusion :huh:

Is he still going to send you a remote control?

If so, make the best of your purchase and avoid buying an ebay item outside of ebay in future.

As you say the tv works, you really have very little reason to return the thing do you?

Hi I feel it's not been a very good sale or him being honest yes he's told me he would send the remote this week
