black horse ppi

Hi,

After waiting 4 months I finally got my upheld letter from black horse about my ppi. I am due to receive £10,500. I accepted and returned my letter (foolishly not recorded delivery) waited 2 weeks then called for an update. Been told today they haven't received my letter and it will take 10 days to send a copy out to me then a further 8 weeks from receipt of my acceptance. Apparently they can not fax or email a copy to me so I have to wait for 2 weeks for the copy! Is 8 weeks right for them to pay? The letter said within 4 weeks so slightly suprised at delay. Has anyone else had to wait 8 weeks?

They are taking longer now because of backlogs, hope you receive this before then though, good luck.

Thanks for the reply. After phoning everyday they have admitted today they did have my acceptance and will start ther 8 weeks from 2/9/11. Fingers crossed payment by end of October. Will be calling from mid October just to remind them!
