With comedy giggs and seating I presume you get there as soon as soon as you can to get the best pick of seats ? Whats the best venue anyone has been to, thinking of bristol, cardiff maybe or birmingham if any.

If you're talking about Glee- they allocate seating when you arrive-but it doesn't seem to matter when you arrive as they have a clipboard with everyones names on there and show you to your seat. So it doesn't matter whether you're 1st in or not. That's how it's worked when I've been. We ended up 2nd row despite turning up at 8 when show was about to start
Highlight/Jongleurs I believe you seat yourself
Guildhall type venues will allocate seat numbers on your ticket usually
Glee is good- good name comedians there. Guess it depends what you're after and who you want to see!!
Otherwise I'd recommend the Comedy store but that's London/Mancheser0 -
The Glee Club in Birmingham is fab, I have been there a few times.
I did go to a comedy club over in Crystal Palace once - I remember it was at a mexican restaurant althought I cannot remember the name of the place. It had a good atmosphere (you didnt have to eat) and the acts were good, I saw some of the acts that were there at the Glee Club too.0
