Worldwidestationery - is it a reliable company?

As this company advertised extensively in the broadsheet newspapers I thought it would be alright to order a Dyson DC14 vacuum cleaner. Had some doubts when I could not pay by credit card - Payment had to be made by cheque or bank transfer. Just for safety I checked with the Compliance Officer of the newspaper in which I had read the ad. He told me checks had been carried out and everything appeared to be in order. So - paid my money by bank transfer on the 21st December and am still awaiting delivery. Have emailed the firm a couple of times and received evasive answers. Thankfully I am covered by the Shoppers scheme run by the newspapers so I will not suffer a loss. I would not recommend making a purchase from this company.
