Looking to rent a flat / room in London

Apologies if this is the incorrect place to post this on the forums, and feel free to move it if it is.
I'm starting a new job in Angel at the beginning of Feb in Angel, London and am desperately trying to find somewhere cheap to rent. Ideally under £450 month including bills.
I don't mind sharing a flat / house with others as long as i have my own room, but so far i'm looked on numerous websites, and i'll i've found is timewasters or people trying to scam money from me.
Can anyone suggest a reputable agency, website, or anything else? Unfortunately i'm based in Leamington Spa at the moment, so i'm a bit stuck at searching out bits in London.
I'm only looking for the space monday to friday as i'll be travelling back to be with my girlfriend in Leamington at the weekend. Looking to be in around central / north London, so Angel / Islington / Hoxton / Marylebone / Bayswater / Regents Park / Kensington / Chelsea / Mayfair.
