Lloyds call waiting times?

Hi all,

Put my initial claim to LLoyds over the phone and all has been good on that front. Had my letter recently (saying they're paying but not giving the amount). Great!

I noted that there's only one loan reference number on the top of ther letter and want to check what's going on with the others (if anything is). Problem is I can never get through.

I'm spending approx 15 mins waiting before hanging up (only so many times I can listen to the Dido song).

How long are people normally waiting for???

    I had the same problem as yourself. Put a claim in for 2 loans but the uphold letter had one loan reference. The letter was dated 30 August. I got through to them on the phone and they said there was something wrong with the computer etc and even though it only quoted one reference number it was for both.

    If you glance through this site you will find that they have had the same problem that we have had and on contacting Lloyds they have stated they letter, is for all the loans.

    Not sure if it this helps any.

    you're a star! I was thinking this might be the case (I've had two offer letters with the same loan number). Just a case of waiting for the letter with the offer and breakdown - sorry if I'm being cheeky but do you remember if anyone said the rough time it takes for this one to come out?

    The two offer letters I've had were dated 22nd /29th August.

    this made me smile! I had 2 hours of it today after finding out that loyds had missed one of my accounts off my claim! i dont like dido...... i now also dislike the song sonny! they so need to buy more records! (or improve there customer service!)
  • I always make sure to call 01733 347007. That way I can call from my mobile and only use my minutes instead of being charged, I normally just leave phone on speaker and bimble about. I've got through in about 10 minutes with my calls at 9am, and 2pm.
    From working in call centres, the quiet times are between school run and lunchtime, and when popular soaps are on tv. Although lloyds closes at 6pm

  • I ve rung them twice. The first time I was on hold for 50 minutes. I ve just got off the phone with them for the second time, now, after a wait time of 55 minutes I was told they would call me back tomorrow evening as it would be quicker! I'm not sure of the logic there but it seems as if the calls are being fended off by staff who cant access the system. All sounds a bit fishy to me...... I'll let you know if they do indeed call me back tomorrow....... I wont hold my breath....

    I had this when I got through the other day, the person took all my details and I was told that someone would call me back that evening, guess what nobody did.

    So I definitely wouldn't hold my breath. Probably best to send them an email.
  • what number are you calling? I use 08456026993 and have never waitied more than 5/10 minutes, apart from this morning, i waited 15 :)
