I am with them and they are fine, pay by direct debit. Npower were a trouble with their final bill - sent me a red letter threatening baliffs whan in fact they owed ME money :eek:Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I'm with NPower, switching to EBico as I posted above. Who will the final meter reading be taken by? I know that it forms both the final and the first reading (obviously), but who actually takes it, NPower or EBico? The last time I changed suppliers was in my previous property, a while ago. The gas and electricity meters were read when I moved in, but never again, even when I changed suppliers and later when I moved out, six years later.Sarahsaver wrote:I am with them and they are fine, pay by direct debit. You give your readings to Ebico (they will send you details of how to).
Then an independent party takes a reading and Npower and Ebico take it from there and decide the final bill.0

Thanks for that. Hopefully I'll be enjoying less expensive gas/electricity very soon.0

I've got to say, that although you've had bad experiences when switching from Powergen, when I did it (albeit 8 years ago), I received a refund cheque for £119, for my electricity out of the blue. This was for a token meter and all the readings were kept up to date by me and never checked officially at all. The unit rate hadn't changed either so I don't really understand this one.
Of course, I never questioned it :j0

Nobody came and actually read my gas meter when I switched to Ebico. I just had to send in the meter reading on the day of the switch.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
