I decided to move gas and electricity supplier after hearing lots about the price hikes. I looked on this website and found that Simply Switch where also offering cash back when using there service. I then found a new tariff and completed all the details necessary and received a confirmation email to say that this was being carried out. I have now just received an email from them to say that they had a "unseen error out of their control" and my application has not been carried out by them. I have missed the deal I wanted and missed the price rises so will be effected badly. I highly recommend NOT to use simplyswitch.com. A complete waste of time.

Much better to use a cashback site so that you are clicking through and dealing direct with the actual supplier.
Just use the comp site to find the right deal initially.No free lunch, and no free laptop
