Timeshare nightmare

Well here we go again. We spent 3 hours on Friday afternoon attending a meeting about selling our timeshare points. We were given the impression that we would be able to sell our points holidays no probs. Well after we arrived in Stratford we were made cups of tea as we handed over our paperwork for inspection. We then had to sit through 3 hours of what I would say was "crap" about investing money (which we dont have which is why we are selling our points anyway as we are both on pensions). It ended up with this guy telling us over and over that if we pay £2,995 there and then we would get £1,500 back and get rid of our points and have to sign up to invest in this development company which would have cost us at least £150,000 using our house as collateral. This is of course ludicrous as we would not put our house at risk. All we wanted to do was to sell our timeshare points. What a nightmare. Has anyone had a similar experience?
