I feel like I have completely fallen off the wagon since before xmas and am struggling to get back on.
Ive used my CC a bit (I feel like I was doing SO well and Ive ruined all my hard work).
I just cant seem to get back into it, my boiler is not working properly, with no solution found as yet, my car has broken down and the bloody interest rates have gone up (we are on variable) and my OH is reluctant to change it at the moment. Im trying my best to sort it out to save us both money, but he is happy to stay as we are. So we have had a falling out over it :-(
Im so fed up with it all at the moment I dont know where to start and just want to cry and go back to bed today and I have arranged to go out for lunch with the girls and am really not feeling like it now.
sorry to moan

hello darling
And to think you had a free lunch this week and your still moaning ( joke!)
What did you buy on the cards? anything that can go back? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Chin up loopy,
A girls lunch out is just what you need. It will be a change of scenery. I think most of us have overspent cos of xmas. If its any cosolation the freezer box in my fridge has packed up and dripping all in my fridge, I feel like poo as I've put on 1/2 a stone over xmas so hardly any clothes fit and I'm really tired.
If you are not looking to something you normally enjoy it more. x😁0 -
((((((HUGS)))))))
Some days things just seem worse and get on top of us.
Try and write a list of things that are making you feel bad, sometimes writing it down makes it seem less bad. Maybe you feel a bit better sonce writing this post?
Could you put your cc in a tub of water and freeze it? That way you have to wait for it to thaw before you can use it - gives you time to think about what you are buying.
Sorry I cant be of much help0 -
nah nothing that can go back, just bits and bobs over xmas, probably no more than £150 at the very very most. but i could kick myself as I was planning to pay more off my mortgage this month (as in Nov I made my last £150 payment on my sofa - so should be £150 better off each month) and have s0d all left already. I WILL be better behaved next month. I just am disapointed with myself for falling off the wagon and not having more self control!!
bluezone, I know the feeling - im feeling SOOOOO fat as well - thanks to lynz and her naughty free cheesecake i think I have put on 1/2 a stone this week!! LOL0 -
lauranurse
i am going to do that 2nite!! although i plan on never defrosting it!! (although depends on how much the car costs to be fixed....)0 -
Go for it!
Remember not to defrost it in the microwave though - it stops it working!!!!
Hope your car doesnt cost too much to fix

YOU, me , turbo challenge?
As many NSD as possible? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Lynz....tell me more about this cheesecake.....!!!
Sorry you're having a bad time loopyloulou, I know it's disheartening when you fall off the wagon a bit, but try and look at it that you didn't fall off altogether, you just parked the wagon up and nipped into the service station for a quick loo break, but you are now firmly back in the cab, and hurtling down the debt-free motorway (I talk such crap lol)."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

I know how you feel girl! I was all ready to get my moneysaving hat on and really get my teeth into paying everything off this year, then after two days work I'm unemployed again (contract came to an unexpected end) so now no income, and missed 10p listing day yesterday on eBay cause I was so busy with other things

And I'm already overdrawn from xmas cause I tried not to use my CC's.
