Hi,
I've just received a bank letter that says; they will close my Account at Lloyds TSB, I'm working out of UK & I don't use it since two years.what should I do? I would like to keep this account. I have some money still in it.your advise please?

    Ring them up and advise that you would like to keep the account?

    If you haven't used it in two years they probably think that you don't want it any more.

    You only have to make one transaction every 18 months, so assuming you have £10 in the account, scheduling a transaction from your cheque account to e-saving once a year for 50p would keep it open for 20+ years :)

    Actually, if you have £10 in the account, then I don't think they are allowed to close it (in some accounts its £1).
