M&S wedding cakes bargain today

  • All of our guests were really impressed by our M&S cake. We got a mix of fruit & spnge, plus chocolate cutting cakes.
We collected them the day before the wedding, and the sponge was still good a week later (obv not as moist though) and the fruit cake was still good 6 weeks later.

We got 3-4-2 too, but the extra 15% off is a great deal!
  • How far in advance did you need to place your order? a month, 3 months? a year? Eeek!
I realise I could poke around the M&S site, but I prefer hearing from people who used the service (And I am lazy ;))

  • I think you can order upto 3 months in advance (IIRC), but they only physically take the money once the cake is ready for dispatch.
  • M&S cakes are beautiful!!! Very YUM!!!
  • We used M&S cakes for our wedding and they looked and tasted lovely we had royal icing flowers made to match my bouquet and saved a fortune compared with quotes we were getting for £450 plus.

M&S cakes are lovely, so big thumbs up from me on your savings! :)
Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...
  • Thanks everyone, nice to hear that some people like the cakes from m&s and the reviews on site were good.
I have ordered mine although they have not taken money yet my weddings in a month... eek lol
They state money is taken when the cake is dispatched to store
I am well chuffed with my bargain. The lady who is decorating my room is sorting cake to match my top table flowers etc so im sure it will be simple but nice

It's proper yummy cake (fruit and sponge), don't worry. My wedding was originally booked for June, we had to postpone the wedding as my Dad was poorly and passed away suddenly, but we still had to pick the cake up as it was too late to cancel. I shared it out amongst everyone we know (we had loads!) and everyone commented on how nice it was. In fact, it was that nice, we have ordered exactly the same for our wedding in October.

So ignore misery trolls and enjoy your scrummy cake!
  • We went to a wedding and they got their wedding cake from M&S and it was lovely, tasted just like wedding cake lol

Don't let anyone put your off, it's your big day and your choice, ignore the troll!
