Hi guys I am looking at buying my dad a Laptop for his 60th next week the only thing is once he retires (March) my parents are looking at going SKIing and moving to Spain. They only want the laptop for Internet, so is there anything I can get that can use the net here and in Spain. Would a data card work abroad or would it…

Personally I get free internet in Spain, depending upon where you are.

I work in Barcelona and anyone who knows the city, will know that residential and business addresses are normally in the same building or at least next door, a quick search on wireless and I can usually find a few unsecure networks offering free internet. Last time from the Hotel in Sants I picked up over a dozen !!!
