Just logged onto the Halifax website to view my Halifax One credit card statement, as it's my anniversary month and my £26.03 cash back bonus is due.
Balance still shows £0.00, as I stopped using it after the the 9 months interest free period ran out.
Phoned Halifax to ask where it was and was told
"Oh, we must have forgot to put it on"
Not good enough I replied, what can you do about it ?
"Nothing ! It'll be on next months statement"
Not even a sorry or anything.
Starting to think that the Halifax is not the place to keep all my money

I've been less that impressed with Halifax One as well.
Over the course of my 9 month period they have failed to take my minimum payment direct debit one month without being able to explain why Then they more than doubled the time it takes them to process a balance transfer without informing me that it was now going to take much longer
Finally they tried to charge me interest on the last 2 weeks of my 9 month interest free period even though I'd double checked the exact end date with them on more than one occasion. They have since refunded the interest following a phone call to them but there was no appology or explanation.
Each time the problem has been rectified and on some of the issuses I got a little compensation (after pressing them for some) but I can do without the hassle of having to write to them every couple of months to sort out their errors0
