Economy 10 and air source heat pumps
We are coming to the end of our NPower Online 19 tariff. In about 8 weeks time we will be having an air source heat pump installed and are considering switching to an economy 10 tariff. N power don't do them and I am struggling to find a list of suppliers who do. Has anyone got any experience of an Economy 10 tariff used with an air source heat pump?

For an ASHP you really should be on a single rate tariff rather than E10 as the pump will need to be on for most of the day and evening0

I have E10 in combinatiion with an ashp. Up till now (since Feb) the split has been almost 50/50 between standard rate and cheap rate, I'm waiting till I've gone throuogh a full winter before coming to any decisions about switching.0

Does anyone know the rates of an Economy 10 tariff? This is what i was recommended to when i had an ASHP installed some months ago. Basically all the people involved in installing it said the same.
However i'm still on a single rate tariff.0
