PVC windows

Hi
I just wondered if anyone could advise?
We have just moved into a house, and for some bizarre reason some of the frames have been painted with gloss. The frames are 14 year old PVC, and not all of the frame has been done, so it looks like a bit if a dogs dinner.
I've scoured the Internet but cannot find anything to remove this gloss. Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks in advance.

They have probably painted them because they have gone yellow.

it would probably be easier to repaint them and make a good job
i've done several jobs where the upvc has got ingrained with dust and grime or yellowed and have used this paint http://bedec.co.uk/MSP%20COLOUR%20CARD-1.pdf which has been very good
  • Hi,
It will better repaint it again. Before paint clear the old things which has been painted.

You can buy a spatula/scraper device with a blade in that may help removal of old paint. Maybe in the paint bits aisle or similar used for removing food gunk from ceramic hobs.
