Parking ticket at Hamble

At my sister in laws for weekend parked in car park in Hamble near Southampton and paid £1.20 for ticket for two hours Came back to car and found parking ticket for 50pounds (£25 if paid in 14 days )I appears that the machine only issued a ticket for twenty pence even though there where no tickets available at that price.Have I got a case to appeal Would in be on the grounds of malfunctioning machine !:mad:Who in there right mind would chance a parking ticket for sake of a pound

    Is this a council car park?, could you post up pics of the signage, this can be done via a link to a pic on photobucket.
  • It is a carpark belonging to Eastleigh Council I took a photo but unfortunately I cant read the writing

    Always appeal a Council PCN and always run it by the experts at pepipoo who can help most people through the appeals process and to win.

    Where does it ask you to send the money to please, it will say so at the bottom of the ticket:
    send payment to........


    I need to check you do actually have a council ticket and this is the only way.
