Parking ticket at Hamble

At my sister in laws for weekend parked in car park in Hamble near Southampton and paid £1.20 for ticket for two hours Came back to car and found parking ticket for 50pounds (£25 if paid in 14 days )I appears that the machine only issued a ticket for twenty pence even though there where no tickets available at that price.Have I got a case to appeal Would in be on the grounds of malfunctioning machine !:mad:Who in there right mind would chance a parking ticket for sake of a pound

Is this a council car park?, could you post up pics of the signage, this can be done via a link to a pic on photobucket.0

It is a carpark belonging to Eastleigh Council I took a photo but unfortunately I cant read the writing0

Where does it ask you to send the money to please, it will say so at the bottom of the ticket:
send payment to........
