Netgear DG834N web page problems

Options
I have the above router, connected to 3 pc's, 2 over a wireless connection and 1 wired. The problem i have is that the wireless pc's cannot load the google page but the wired connection has no problem at all.

It says web page found, but never loads it. I have changed the routers firewall to allow all on the wireless connection and this has made no difference.

Can anyone help, has anyone had this problem before?

Thanks

  • Have you input your ISP's DNS server IP addresses into your TCP/IP properties on your wireless PC's?

To do this right click on Network Neigbourhood & select properties. Go down the different connection types to TCP/IP & select properites then input your ISP's DNS IP addresses. You should have primary & secondary. To find out what the DNS server IP's are do the same procedure on your wired PC.

Its been automaticly assigned an address by the router i think, looking at it, it has a dns of 192.168.0.1 on prefered and nothing on secondry, i think this is the router. Is this correct.

How do i find the ISP dns address?

I have the same router. I have just checked my setings.
Have you enabled the wireless access point?

Type 192.168.0.1 into your address bar and check your settings.

Ok ive tried this and it still doesnt work, does this rule out the dns issue. Could there be anything else thats stopping this page loading.
