halifax current account application

Options
Hello MSERS

I was wondering if any one could give me any their thoughts. I was looking at apply for a standard halifax current account.

When you apply it asks a numbers of questions to begin before you start completing the application form. The one question is have you ever had a CCJ issued in the last 3 years? I have a 5 year and 3 month old CCJ am I likely to be accepted?:eek:

Other than the CCJ my payment history is perfect on all my other credit accounts.

  • You can but try I guess, you can honestly answer no to the question so they must obviously consider you.
  • yup im thinking they may consider me due the nature of the question then.

Ill see if its changed when they have finished updating the systems.
  • I think this might just be for determining if you're eligable for an overdraft or not

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time
  • GRRRR it dont ask the questions now they have upgraded there systems. When you apply it looks the same as the lloydsysb account application now.
