6th form college 16yr old student, best bank account?

As the title says, could anyone please recommend a bank account for a 16yr old girl about to start 6th form college? She has never has a bank account before and also is starting a new Saturday job where her employer wants to pay monthly wages direct into her account.

Not aware of any incentives for this target market.
Santander probably have the highest rate and the poorest service.
Lloyds TSB next on the rates score.
Personally I'd just go for the bank with the most convenient branch / ATM.0 -
I would not touch Santander, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Lloyds TSB is a good choice and their online banking is probably one of the easiest systems to use/understand.

My 16 year old son starts collect tomorrow and does some part time work. He has a Halifax Cardcash account and has had no problems with it.0

Try HSBC Premier, you will get a friendly person who will give you a lollipop for free.0

I thought HSBC premier was only available if you met certain conditions, which I can't see a 16 year old been able to meet those conditions.
I would recommend the HSBC MyAccount though - https://www.hsbc.co.uk/under18s - had it until last year when I turned 18.0 -
