orange mobile customer services are just a joke!!
just had yet another fruitless call to them.
my daughter got a phone for christmas with £30 free credit. registering was difficult. I was put through to a call centre to someone who couldnt understand my accent. The sim card did not activate....another two calls....eventually got through to someone who sorted it out. this was only after a number of fruitless journeys on their menu system on 450 number.
then, against my advice, my daughter downloaded two ringtones from the orange website. cost should have been £3.50 each at most. it cleared out all her credit of over £30 pounds. again we had to negotiate the menu system. eventually got through to an offshore call centre who couldnt understand our complaint, asked us to hold...then we got cut off. They did call back and eventually put us through to someone called "Karen". She said we couldnt have a refund until someone from technical support sorted it out. it did show my daughter's account was being charged £10 per minute!!!!
she took my number and promised to phone us back.....so here we are a week later and no call back. So I phoned them. She asked my name..phone number etc but because she didnt enter the details as a third party on the phone they wont speak to me!! daughter is at school. ARRRRGGGHHH.

If you know your daughter's password, just phone and say that you are "dogrose"; ie. just the surname. If you claimed to be your daughter, you might well be on doggy ground. However, if they think you are without you actually claiming to be, then you might get some action.
Of course, this is all assuming that you do not have a deep voice which could not be mistaken for your daughter.

instead of battling the 450 menu
call 07973100450 and it will prompt you to enter the number, just dont do anything and it will put you through to the helpdesk (my experience mainly not the indian call centre)Yes Your Dukeiness0 -
I registered my sim and they gave me a mobile number they were supposed to send me a code to activate it.They never sent it so i emailed them and they said they could not deal with it through email so they gave me a number to ring.I rang the number entered my mobile number but then it asked me to enter 4 digit code problem being i don't have one so i could not get through. My phone is Orange but i can not be bothered with all the hassle of trying to use the blooming thing and getting no help whatsoever from Orange.I have a LG Shine phone is it possible to get it unlocked so that i could use O2 as i prefer them anyway.0
