ESA waiting time

Hi,

I am migrating from income support to ESA , and I have filled and sent out the ESA form more than 1 month now and still not recieved anything from them , I am sooooo worried about the decision and whether I have to pass a medical or not :(
I suffer from sever epilepsy clonic tonic seizures , I have seizures at least 3 times a week .
I have sent with the form a report from my neurologist consultant and a letter from my GP.

I want to know if this is normal to take that long for decision and if I can call them to check what happen and if they are able to tell me the decision over the phone ?

Thank you

    Hi,

To let u know I just recieved 15minutes ago a letter form them , I have been placed on the support group directly without a medical assessment :j
Thanks God Im happy now such a relief !!!
Hope for those waiting for a decision to get good news soon aswell :)
  • Just check that they received the form. I think that is the only thing that you need to do ATM. One month isn't that long for these kind of things. Even a clear cut decision will most likely take longer that one month when they have to send for medical records and reports etc.
